Spring. He is Risen - Celebrate the Savior. Happy Easter.

The Meaning of Easter

Easter commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the tomb, occurring three days after His crucifixion. It fulfills the prophecy of the Messiah's persecution, death for our sins, and resurrection, as foretold in Isaiah 53. This event serves as a reminder of our victory over sin and a source of daily hope. According to the New Testament, Easter falls three days after Jesus' crucifixion, following a period of fasting known as Lent, which begins on Ash Wednesday and concludes on Good Friday, the day of Jesus' death.

First Day of Spring - March 20th.

Maintenance Tips for Residents

Check the Range Hood Filter:
To ensure your range hood's exhaust vent continues to function properly, it is necessary to regularly clean the filter that catches grease. This involves taking out the filter and washing it in hot water with dish soap that cuts grease.

Clear Drains :
Verify that all sinks, showers, and tubs are draining properly. In the event of a clog please call the maintenance office. Do not combine drain cleaners and DIV solutions, as this may cause harmful reactions. In bath sinks, sometimes it may be necessary to remove the drain stopper to clear hair that may accumulate.

Check Sinks and Toilets for Leaks:
Investigate any evidence of water, no matter how small. A leak will become worse if left unchecked, so the sooner it is addressed the better.

Check Windows & Locks:
Make sure that all window and door locks work properly. Each exterior door should have a one-inch deadbolt lock for safety.

Manna Church at Blueberry Place

Manna Church is no stranger to Fayetteville Metropolitan Housing Authority. The church has adopted families going back as far as Campbell Terrace and Grove View Terrace apartments. After residents vacated the units at Grove View Terrace in preparation for the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion, Manna Church quickly sought out another FMHA property to adopt. Because of their love for God, people and the work of the ministry, the members of Manna Church adopted the 48 families residing in Blueberry Place Apartments in 2018. Please join the FMHA team in applauding and thanking Manna Church for the great work they do in the Blueberry Place community all year long, and especially during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.
