Sealed proposals will be received by the Fayetteville Metropolitan Housing Authority for the Community Resource Center Repairs Project until 3:00 PM, Thursday, August 17, 2023, and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment entering into the community resource center repairs project. Scope of work will consist of and includes, but is not limited to, the following items:

  1. Interior repairs and finishes (ceilings, hardware) of an existing 8,161 SF Community Resource Center
  2. Mold remediation
  3. Mechanical and Electrical work
  4. All other work as shown on plans, in the specifications, and as required by codes and the authority having jurisdiction.

A Pre-Bid Conference has been scheduled for 10:00 AM, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 2, 2023. The meeting will be held at the office of the Fayetteville Metropolitan Housing Authority, located at 1000 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, North Carolina. A site visit will follow.

Contractors may arrange additional site visits on Thursday, August 3, 2023, and Friday, August 4, 2023, from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM. Contact Shawn Ludlum at 910.309.8386 to schedule your visit. The Owner will make the building available on those dates, so Contractors can have access to the interiors.

Due to the nature of the project, Contractors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to visit the building and walk the interior of the building.

Complete Bid Documents will be open for inspection in the office of Stogner Architecture (Designer); at the Housing Authority Office, or complete Bid Documents will be available for online viewing from the offices of Construct Connect; Dodge Data & Analytics; and Construction Journal.

All contractors are hereby notified that they must have proper licenses under the State laws governing their respective trades, whether or not Federal Funding is involved.

Contractors will be responsible to ensure that economic opportunities, to the greatest extent feasible, follow Section 3 Requirements 24 CFR Part 135.1 and Section 3 Clause 24 CFR Part 135.38.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
