"What Home Means to Me" Poster Contest

As part of NAHRO's Housing America campaign, a poster contest is held each year for children living in affordable housing owned or administered by NAHRO member agencies. Posters reflect the national theme "What Home Means to Me." The contest is a collaborative effort of NAHRO's local and state chapters, regional chapters, and national NAHRO. Carolinas Council of Housing Redevelopment & Code Officials (CCHRCO) will accept all submissions to this contest. We will select a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner for each category: Elementary (K to 5th), Middle School (6th to 8th), and High School (9th to 12th). Your child will receive a $25 gift card for their participation.

All entries must meet all contest rules, be accompanied by a fully signed application and a narrative, and be received by Wednesday, May 29, 2024, to be considered for the contest. Submissions received after the deadline or not containing all necessary documents cannot be considered.

Contact the Self-Sufficiency Department for more information (contest rules, application, forms). All entries must be received in the resident services office no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, May 9, 2024.
